An ongoing investigation by Houston Police Department detectives determined that a 30-year-old male fatally shot Soldem Harris outside a business at 6303 Eastland Street on October 9, 2023.

Javunte Jerome Bradshaw and Solden Harris were outside a business at the above address at approximately 2:40 p.m. when a physical altercation occurred. Bradshaw allegedly shot Harris before fleeing the scene in a gray 2023 Toyota Camry with two other males.

Harris later succumbed to his injuries at Ben Taub General Hospital.

Detectives were able to identify Bradshaw through CCTV images.

Bradshaw was arrested on November 27, 2023, during a traffic stop in the 7900 block of Safebuy Street. Bradshaw, who is a felon, was found to have a firearm in his possession.

Detectives have charged Bradshaw with a firearm offense and murder.
