The Albany Police Department has announced arrests for the homicide in the 600 block of Willard Avenue. On December 6, 2023 around 4:30 PM, officers with the Albany Police Department responded to the 600 block of Willard Avenue in reference to a shooting. At the scene, authorities found three victims.

22-year-old Keyunte Treshawn Stephen was pronounced deceased at the scene. 44-year-old Germaine Stephen and 19-year-old Zenobia Tucker were transported to the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Officers have apprehended three suspects in the case.

20-year-old Tray’veon Day’Shawn Westbrook and 20-year-old Tyshaundre Jaquez Jackson were apprehended after they bailed out of a vehicle and ran. Police say they were caught following a short foot chase. Westbrook is charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

Jackson is charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault. 35-year-old Basharia Lena Tucker was charged with tampering with evidence.
