A 70-year-old bicyclist was fatally injured in a hit-and-run motorcycle vs. vehicle collision at 3721 Crossvale Road. DeKalb County Police Department identified the victim as 70-year-old Barry Collier.

DeKalb police were dispatched to the above address on November 23, 2023, to investigate a vehicle vs. bicyclist collision. At the scene, officers found the victim unresponsive. The subject vehicle, a dark-colored sedan, fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival.

Paramedics transported Collier to an area hospital where was later pronounced deceased.
