On October 30, 2023 at roughly 4:10 PM, officers with the Memphis Police Department responded to a shooting in the 6600 block of Winchester Road. According to a Memphis Police Department social media post, the victims were driving west on Winchester in a white SUV when a black Infiniti QX70 came up behind them and drove close to the passenger side.

Individuals wearing all-black and facemasks fired multiple gunshots at the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle. After the shooting, the Infinity QX70 continued west on Winchester Road. The victims in the other vehicle were struck by gunshots and some occupied buildings nearby were also hit. Detectives say the Infiniti QX70 was stolen approximately an hour before the shooting.

A white Ford Focus that was with the QX70 when it was stolen was also seen during the shooting. According to the Memphis Police Department’s social media post, the suspects are described as three to four black males wearing black clothing and facemasks.
