The 2019 mild winter has left up with more insects to plague our outdoor events. Fortunately, there are various products available to help control these pesky bugs. These products range from insecticide aerosols to foggers to electric zappers. One particular product that keeps popping up on the Internet is the BuzzBGone Insect Zapper. Before you invest in this product or any other pest control device, you need to do your research.

The first step is to compare the BuzzBGone Insect Zapper with the available devices on AliExpress. Sure enough, there are more than a few devices that look identical to the BuzzBGone model.

The devices featured on AliExpress range between $7.02 and $12.00. The BuzzBGone Insect Zapper, on the other hand, is $39.99 for one unit and $89.98 for three units.

Even more deception, the website is utilizing a plugin that shows its “most recent sales.” This is a deceptive tactic that many AliExpress resellers are utilizing to boost sales.

BuzzBGone Insect Zapper – Scam

While this is a real device, it has been rebranded. This is not to mention the BuzzBGone model is being sold at three times higher than the lowest AliExpress price.

Same Item On AliExpress

It is also available on Amazon for $16.99, half of the BuzzBGone price. In our opinion, they are both still too high compared to AliExpress.

Same Knockoff On Amazon

Since the launch of AliExpress in 2010, thousands of websites selling rebranded Chinese-made products have popped up all over the Internet. To legally resell a branded product, the manufacturer or patent owner and reseller must sign a White Label Agreement. This contract gives the reseller authorization to rebrand and sell the product.

The FTC needs to oversee the sales of all Chinese-made rebranded products. including those being sold on Amazon. The once most-trusted online marketplace in the world has become a hotbed for these products. The company should only accept rebranded products without White Label Agreements. This will probably never happen because it would reduce the company’s inventory by at least half.

There is also the issue of validating the manufacturer’s warranty. There is always the risk of the warranty not being transferable to the second owner.

Is BuzzBGone worth it?

While the product may function as guaranteed, the price is just way too high. There is deception involved since there is no mention of a White Label Agreement. Furthermore, the “supposed” recent sales plugin is a shameless attempt to get American consumers to feel they will be left out if they don’t purchase immediately.

If you want to buy a bug zapper, do it through AliExpress. You will save a lot of money in the process. Remember, there are risks involved on both ends of the spectrum. Even if you purchase the item from Amazon, the warranty may be void.

There are countless similar products like this on AliExpress and Alibaba.
