Oysykt.com is an online retailer with a diverse product line.
The About Us does not provide any significant details that could be utilized to validate the legitimacy of the website. The Contact Us page claims the website is connected to the Marul Company Limited, a London-based private limited company located at Hamilton House, Mabledon Place.
A business search via the UK government website Companies House shows the company was registered on April 7, 2017. The company specializes in footwear and clothing. Chenguang Jang replaced former director Yuan Yuan Zou on December 10, 2019.
It is virtually impossible to find a website for the company. Google, Bing, and Yahoo search rendered no results.
Not Registered With BBB
Neither the website nor company is listed on BBB.
The website was registered on June 29, 2020, to an entity or individual in China.
The entire Ousykt product line comes from Alibaba. For example, the Ousykt Waterproof Alarm Lock is priced at $24.98 excluding shipping, the Alibaba price is $3.14 excluding shipping. It is also available on Amazon for $15.59 with a boatload of fake reviews. For example, Muy Bueno gave the lock a 5-star rating. If you click on the profile, you will see only two reviews, both of which are for the same lock.
If Amazon has any intentions of staying relevant, it needs to take action sooner than later. Consumers beware when utilizing Amazon as a research source. The website is overflowing with fake reviews and counterfeit products.
Afterword – Ousykt Scam
This is a fairly new website, so it may take a while before the reviews start showing up. The Marul Company Limited is not registered with BBB. The company does not have an official website that we could find. Whether this website is legitimately connected to the Marul Company is questionable.
The legitimacy of the Marul Company is questionable, as is virtually a Chinese company.
The PayPal account is registered to Zoomall. It is obvious Ousykt’s products are overpriced, especially when they come directly from Alibaba.
As far as Amazon goes, the company has long lost all of its integrity. No longer does the company care about customer service or quality control, it is all about profit. Amazon has definitely felt the impact of COVID-19. The first few months, it was relying on third-party vendors Now, it is relying on FBA sellers who are peddling nothing but Alibaba junk.
The only thing that helps Amazon is the fear it has instilled in its customers. Too many A to Z claims will result in having your account closed. This is why many of Amazon’s customers just eat their losses
Is Ousykt A Scam?
There is not enough information for Nayzayerz to make this call. As usual, if you find something you like on the website, buy it from Amazon, Alibaba, eBay, or AliExpress. Either of these sites would be safer than Ousykt.
Remember, just because a company is registered in London or the United States does not mean it is legit. There are more than a few LLCs and PLCs that are nothing more than scams.
