About Us

The About Us page does not provide any significant details about the website. The Contact Us page does provide the address 68308 G/F Kowloon East Building, 12 Lei Yue Mun Road, Kwung Tong, Hong Kong. The address is definitely not original because it is linked to a broad range of websites, including getplaybeatz.com, advancedliving.com, blauxportableac.com, mobileklean.com, and feverpatrl.com.

Image: CSMS Hong Kong Government Business Search

Nayzayerz recently reviewed the Blaux Portable AC, which turned out to be a scam. Anything connected to Blaux just does not seem legit. The PayPal username for Blaux is Unipro, which is not a real company but a scam artist preying on American consumers.

Strong Current Enterprises claims to be the owner and operator of the RangeXTD website. A business search via the Company Search Mobile Service (CSMS), an online business search service of the Hong Kong government, did verify the legitimacy of the company.

Strong Current Enterprises is an active private company limited by shares registered in Hong Kong on August 1, 2008. The company’s official website showed a limited selection of products, none of which was the RangeXTD Wi-Fi Extender. It also shows a different address than the one provided on the RangeXTD Contact Us page. This address shows the company located in Wanchai, Hong Kong not Kwung Tong. If the company has multiple locations in Hong Kong, this could explain the different addresses.

Domain Information

Buyrangextd.com was registered on October 14, 2019, to an entity or individual in Panama. The website utilizes the Live Sales Notification plugin, which shows a new customer every few seconds.

Afterword – RangeXTD Scam

The RangeXTD was featured in the SFWeekly, a tabloid newspaper-alternative, on July 24, 2020. But, so was the Buzz B Gone on August 3, 2020. Nayzayerz recently did an article about the not-so authentic bug zapper, which is available via AliExpress, Alibaba, eBay, and Amazon. Scam artists do not know when to quit, they utilize all kinds of resources in an attempt to legitimize their products.

American consumers beware when utilizing SFWeekly as a legitimate news source. It is filled to the brim with false content. If the RangeXTD is a legit Strong Current Enterprises’ product, you think the company would have it displayed on its website.

We went through the process of purchasing the RangeXTD via PayPal and discovered the account is not linked to Strong Current Enterprises but Able Look Online Limited. Do not purchase from any website without conducting thorough research. It is very easy to verify companies all over the world with a little research.

Another point, if Strong Current Enterprises created this website, why would it hide its domain registrant information? The company wouldn’t because it would have no reason to.

Is RangeXTD a scam? Probably!

  1. I also placed an order with this company. I did receive the product but they do not work. When you call the customer service line it tells you they are experiencing high volume and you wait for over 20 min. After that it disconnects you. I have tried numerous times to contact this company to return, but you can never get a person on the line. There is no other way to contact them as I have researched them numerous times. I filed a dispute with Pay pal to hopefully get my money back.

    1. It appears PayPal is not refunding for these products. Hopefully, this is the case for you. But, your refund request will probably be denied. This is not a legit company, it is a group of international scam artists. So, there is no physical address attached to the website, which means there is no way to return the items for a full refund. Good luck.

      1. Huh! We are not affiliated with Able Look Online. We are a scam buster website. You will need to contact Able Look Online for this information. You probably got scammed. They utilize an app to create fake tracking numbers. Good luck!

  2. I accidentally ordered 2 sets of range Ctr wi fi boosters and tried to cancel one of the sets through pay pal. Since then I did receive 1 set of three and not the other which is what I wanted. My problem is I was charged for both sets $134. And change I want a refund for the set I did not want.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation

    1. Start with a PayPal complaint and if that doesn’t work, file a BBB complaint against PayPal. If you paid with a credit card, you shouldn’t face any issues getting a full refund. We are not talking about a real company here. This is a group of scam artists taking advantage of vulnerable and unaware consumers. Let us know how it goes. Don’t wait too long to request a full refund via PayPal or your credit card company.

        1. An organization that acts as a middleman between consumers and companies. BBB helps resolve issues such as the one you are having with Able Look Online Limited. It is mainly for American consumers but it may be able to help other consumers as well. bbb.org is the website you need to access to file the claim.

  3. I ordered this product, Are you saying they are looking at my online usage? I received this product and was about to use it but now I am going to research this better. If you have more proof please inform me. Also Is S.F. Weekely a news source?

    1. No, we are not saying they are monitoring or tracking your online activity. We are just saying the product is an Alibaba look-a-like. If it actually works, it is probably safe to say it is secure. The scam artists probably do not have the intellect or means to monitor each buyer’s online activity.

  4. Bestellt ,RANGE XTD ‘ROUTER und bezahlt, doch bis jetzt nicht angekommen!!
Ich fordere eine baldige Lieferung oder eine Rückerstattung des Geldes!!

  5. ICH FORDERE EINE BALDIGE LIEFERUNG ODER EINE RÜCKERSTATTUNG DES
    EINGEZAHLTEN BETRAGES!!(RANGE XTD ROUTER)

    1. If you ordered with your credit card or PayPal, you may as well be prepared to file a claim against Able Look Online. It is likely it will never arrive. Also, file a BBB complaint to let other consumers know about this scam artist. Do not delay too long, there is a refund request deadline.

    1. You will need to request a return via PayPal or your credit card company. You should be able to return the items to Able Look Online and get a full refund. Good luck because these scam artists are not known for being honest vendors.

  7. After long arguments with PayPal, they say ship back to Hong Kong. Well shipping is $121 and my responsibility. Not fair when the product is a piece of junk. The IP address they tell you to go to and set up doesnt work. The only way PayPal will refund my money is if I file a complaint on http://WWW.IC3.GOV they are an internet scam reporting agency. I urge all to file there and get these dirt bags shut down.

    1. Wow! PayPal shifting to buck to avoid financial loss. Never buy from an online vendor without doing your research. Most of these vendors are internationally located with no American address. Some tend to utilize third-party shipping fulfillment centers for returns. You could try filing a BBB complaint against PayPal, they generally do not fight them and will refund within 30 days or so. Good luck!

    1. If it isn’t too late, you can request a refund. And, if the vendor does not respond, you can file a complaint through your credit card company or PayPal. The next time, do a comparison of similar products on Alibaba (all junk).
